42 people injured in Taiwan earthquake
Forty-two people were slightly injured in an earthquake measuring 6.4 on the Richter scale which rocked Taiwan at 6:02 p.m. (1002 GMT) Saturday, Taiwan media said.

Beijing-Shanghai high-speed railway expected to begin operation in 2010
The Beijing-Shanghai high-speed railway will be put into operation in 2010, China’s Ministry of Railway said in Beijing Monday.
