China ends low-priced sugar era (Financial Express)
BEIJING, Apr 13 (CEIS): The price of white sugar in China’s domestic market once surged to 5,800 yuan per tonne from 2,800 yuan in the past several months. With the macro control measures taken by the government, the white sugar price dropped to some 5,000 yuan per tonne at present.
